Bonner Baseball Routs LaSalle
Bonner baseball took out their frustration on LaSalle in a big way. After losing a tough game on a walk off double just two days earlier to the same Explorer team, Bonner pounded LaSalle 9-1. Joe Nestor was dominant on the mound. He allowed 1 earned run, while striking out 6 in 5+ innings of work. Matt Dolan came in to seal the game. Rick Reigner had two hits, one of which was a triple. Josh Van Horn and Paul Shepherd also had two hits, and Shepherd, along with Matt Ruggieri had 2 RBI's. Bonner now improves to 4-2 (2-2 PCL). Up next is a string of three games in a row. The Friars have a series with arch-rival Cardinal O'Hara beginning Tuesday, April 20th at O'Hara. The following day, they'll travel to Malvern to take on the "other" Friars, and then complete their series against O'Hara Thursday, this time at Bonner. All three games are at 3:45.
