Basketball wasn't the only sport being played on Friday night, as the Bonner hockey team traveled to Warminster for a big game against Archbishop Wood. With a win, Bonner would knock out the Vikings from clinching first place in the PCL Blue Division. They did just that, and in turn, move into first place with a 7-3 victory. Senior standout Dave Brewer recorded a hat trick. Juniors Billy Gregg, Corey Cahill, Dan Schwartzmen, and Dan Stone each tallied once for the Friars. Bonner leads Roman Catholic by 2 points for first place in the division. It should be interesting, as the two teams still have to play each other twice. But before that, there is still business to attend to. Bonner's next game will be on Friday, January 29th at the Skatium. The puck drops against the lowly Crusaders at 7:00pm.
